New Home for the Albany Family Resource Center
Albany, NY January 2008 The Albany Family Resource Center is pleased to announce their new location at 747 Madison Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.
Brooke Schewe, Director of Families Together in Albany County, notes that, "Besides the wonderful location, this is a further step toward care and supports for children, youth and families that will progress with time and provide positive benefits for the city of Albany."
Families Together in Albany County is an organization helping families with children, and youth (0-21) with social, emotional or behavioral concerns. Families Together is staffed by family members of youth with similar needs to those we serve. Families Together is here to help strengthen, inform and educate families about the resources that are available to them.
Families Together in Albany County can provide social and recreational opportunities for youth who are isolated from others due to their challenging behaviors - and provide educational opportunities and networking for all families in the city of Albany and Albany County, and community members though a variety of workshops and parenting support groups.
